Softline Georgia has successfully migrated the infrastructure of Aviator Ltd. (Adjarabet) from Google App to Office 365. The project commenced in February 2020 and was completed on April 29, 2020.
Aviator Ltd. (Adjarabet) - a pioneer of the bookmaker business and market leader in Georgia, has been operating since 1998, and has appeared on the Internet since 2003. The company boasts the most successful, innovative and secure gaming portal in Georgia.
The management of Aviator (Adjarabet) was looking for a new modern cloud solution for organizing internal and external communication processes (so-called Modern Workspace), which would meet modern standards and ensure flexible and efficient teamwork. An important factor for the management of the company was the interaction of all employees of the company and remote access to corporate resources for customers. Aviator was also looking for a strong solution for mobile phone management, which would enable customers to have centralized access to the company’s internal applications from any device, according to the company’s internal security policies. The decision to switch from Google App to Office 365 for Aviator’s management was not easy, as the perfect project required both a licensing process and a migration to a new solution.
Aviator faced an important decision, because the existing infrastructure was fully adapted to the Google App solution. It was very important for the company to find a partner who would do the technical work and help build the infrastructure for the new solution so that business processes and customer access to their resources and work applications would not be interrupted. Proper and reasoned recommendations were of great importance in the process of solving this task. Of course, one of the criteria when choosing a partner was the project pricing.
Softline Georgia's team, comprised of local specialists, involved, as part of a project Softline's Microsoft business development division Oleg Shklyarnik’s Team of Professionals together with Softline Services representatives Gruzdev Vladimir and Roman Starushenko to quickly assess the workload and submit a commercial proposal and a list of necessary works to the customer. The company offered the management of Aviator to switch to Office 365. In parallel, the team of Softline Georgia provided recommendations to the representatives of the company Aviator on the correct configuration and migration processes in order to ensure compliance with the internal security policies of the company and maintain business operations uninterrupted.
In the process of solving the existing problematic issues, the team of Softline Georgia proposed the customer the decision executed with high professionalism. Given that in the past Aviator had the experience working with Softline Georgia in the framework of other successful project, there was confidence in the high level of professionalism of Softline Georgia’s team and the ability to resolve any issues, Softline Georgia was declared the winner of the tender. The company immediately began the difficult and labour-intensive migration process.
Project management, organization and implementation of Softline Services tech specialists Tarantsov Stanislav, Sotnikov Anton and Project Manager Trofimova Anastasiya allowed Aviator to successfully migrate Google Drive, Google Mail and other Google Cloud workloads to Office365: OneDrive, Exchange Online with no downtime to production services and user interruption. As a result, the tech expertise of Softline Services Technicians provided to Aviator an efficient way to move forward on a digital transformation and cost effective project.
After the completion of the project, the company Aviator received modern technologies, and a modern Workplace environment was created for corporate users.
