The Rise of Low Code Apps with Power Apps
In addressing critical sustainability issues, digital transformation can be an important tool.
Small and Medium businesses (SMBs) are always looking for ways to increase their profitability and efficiency, and with that, they look to use their resources effectively to improve performance and increase profits.
Thus, moving to a digital solution will encourage SMBs to have continuous improvement thanks to standardised processes, increased production, and lower error rates.
With that, we see that Low-code app development is gaining much traction right now—and for a good reason. This technology makes it easier for those with limited knowledge of the solution to build applications for both web and mobile apps.
Experts in the tech field, the members of the Forbes Technology Council, have seen the evolution and benefits of low-code development first-hand.
Low-code platforms like Microsoft Power Platform help IT professionals to collaborate and move swiftly with the business allowing for the delivery of more solutions with greater efficiency, security, and compliance.
Current market conditions are challenging for IT professionals to manage security and deliver customer expectations in a timely manner, given that “remote everything” is the new reality.
The rising demand for custom software solutions in support of digital transformation has paved the way for the emergence of citizen developers outside of the IT industry, which, in turn, has influenced the rise in low code.
Gartner research says, on average, 41% of employees outside IT – or business technologists – customise or build data or technology solutions. Gartner predicts that half of all new low-code clients will come from business buyers that are outside the IT organisation by year-end 2025, too.
Low-code capabilities that support remote work functions, such as digital forms and workflow automation, will be offered more elastic pricing since they will be required to keep the lights running.
Microsoft Power Platform is ideal for creating rich customer experiences with managed services built for IT professionals, admins, and operators. Power Platform takes the platform one step further, allowing you to leverage the efficiency of low code without compromising security and administration standards.
Noventiq has recently created five apps utilising Microsoft Power Apps; the apps will allow you to increase your business agility, enabling your business to modernise and innovate faster to eliminate inefficiencies and solve your business’s challenges.
The 4 out of 13 Apps developed by Noventiq are:
